  • An Art of Story-Telling in Teaching: Evaluation of Pedagogy

    Abstract

    Present study acknowledges that storytelling is impactful in a teaching learning environment and a teacher can play an instrumental role as a storyteller. The inference comes from the review of studies conducted worldwide and theories expounded by educationists. The following review of literature elaborates on: Storytelling in Teaching and Role of Teachers as Storytellers. The review facilitated researcher to understand the nature and extent of the research done in the area of storytelling. The exercise helped her validating the objectives of her study. A detailed review under individual themes has been taken up in following sections. It is followed by an overview leading to conclusions related to the present study.
