    Abstract

    The Automated Teller Machine (ATM) has long served as a critical financial interface providing customers with essential banking services such as cash withdrawal balance inquiries and fund transfers without requiring human interaction. However as cyber threats card skimming shoulder surfing identity theft and ATM fraud continue to rise globally the traditional ATM ecosystem faces increased security vulnerabilities. This creates an urgent need to redesign ATM systems with stronger technological safeguards improved authentication mechanisms advanced surveillance integration and more intelligent fraud detection capabilities.
