  • Automated Guided Robot for Mobile Applications (Robot for Pick and Place)

    Abstract

    The production and process sectors rely heavily on robots in todays scientific environment. The high installation cost significant maintenance problems the requirement for a competent human to monitor and supervise its functioning and the fact that robots play an essential role in many industries prevent many from using them. Based on this the EIErobo robot was built that is operated by infrared sensors and an IC555 operating in constable mode. Linear operation is possible with this robot. This pick-and-place robot is versatile enough to be employed in any industry. In addition to MATLAB analysis EIE ROBOs findings demonstrated that it outperformed the previous robot in terms of efficiency. Similarly it was determined to have a lower installation cost when compared.
