Abstract
This research paper titled Cultural Identity and Globalization: A Study of Youth in Urban and Rural Settings aims to explore the complexities surrounding cultural identity in the face of globalization with a particular focus on youth in both urban and rural India. This study delves into how globalization affects the cultural practices values and beliefs of the younger generation examining both assimilative and resistant responses to global cultural forces. Youth in urban areas often exposed to global media consumerism and diverse cultural practices may experience a different cultural transformation compared to those in rural areas who might retain traditional practices and values despite globalizations influence.
