  • Digital Nomadism: Social Networking and Community Building among Remote Workers

    Abstract

    The rise of digital nomadism has redefined the nature of work allowing individuals to work remotely while traveling and leveraging technology to stay connected. This shift has given rise to new forms of social networking and community building as remote workers seek alternative ways to maintain professional collaborations personal relationships and social well-being. This research examines how digital nomads navigate the challenges of remote work while actively engaging in online and offline communities to foster a sense of belonging and support. Using a multidisciplinary approach that draws from sociology communication studies and work psychology this paper analyzes the mechanisms that facilitate social networking among remote professionals. Findings reveal that digital nomads rely on virtual platforms co-living spaces and coworking hubs to establish meaningful relationships that replace traditional office culture. While the lifestyle promotes flexibility and autonomy it also introduc
