Abstract
As cities grow denser faster and increasingly technology-driven human relationships within urban spaces are experiencing significant transformations. Amid this rapid urbanization green spaces such as parks gardens and urban forests have emerged as critical yet underexplored environments influencing not just physical health but also social and emotional well-being. This paper explores the sociological impact of urban green spaces on interpersonal relationships in Indian metropolitan contexts. Through qualitative fieldwork in cities like Delhi Bengaluru and Pune and supported by interdisciplinary scholarship the study investigates how green environments shape patterns of interaction community bonding family dynamics intergenerational engagement and even conflict resolution.
