Abstract

Environmental awareness has emerged as one of the most significant concerns of the twenty-first century as humanity faces unprecedented ecological challenges such as climate change biodiversity loss pollution and depletion of natural resources. The growing imbalance between human activities and natural systems has highlighted the urgent need for a sustainable society that harmonizes development with environmental protection. This research paper examines the concept of environmental awareness and its critical role in building and sustaining a sustainable society. Environmental awareness refers to the understanding of environmental issues recognition of human responsibility toward nature and adoption of practices that minimize ecological damage. A sustainable society on the other hand is one that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This paper explores the interrelationship between environmental awareness and susta
