Abstract
Environmental education and sustainable awareness among youth in India between 2018 and 2025 emerged as critical areas of concern in the context of climate change pollution biodiversity loss and resource depletion. Young people as future leaders and decision-makers became central to efforts aimed at promoting sustainable development and ecological justice. This period witnessed significant educational reforms civil society initiatives and digital campaigns designed to cultivate environmental consciousness. The integration of sustainability into school curricula youth-led climate movements and government programs such as the Swachh Bharat Mission Jal Jeevan Mission and renewable energy campaigns all influenced how youth engaged with ecological issues.
