Abstract

Women in Indian society have remained under the hegemony of their male counterpart, in spite of their multipurpose contribution to their family and other meaningful position of the society. Women development has remained a central place in every government programme. The efforts have taken materialize the rights, articipation and enhancement of inclusive growth (Economic, Social, Political and cultural) but the conditions remain unchanged. The present paper intends to highlights experience of women’s empowerment in general and tribals in particular, besides it has applied Micro approach about myth and reality of women empowerment in two selective villages namely; (Patraput and Minapai) of Koraput district through OTELP.
