  • Exploring the Intersection of Sexuality and Hip-Hop

    Abstract

    The cultural phenomenon of Hip-Hop has consistently served as a platform for marginalized voices political commentary and the expression of identity with sexuality emerging as a recurring theme in lyrics visuals and performative acts. This research paper examines the intricate relationship between sexuality and Hip-Hop analyzing how gender sexual identity and desire are represented negotiated and sometimes contested within this musical and cultural framework. The study focuses on lyrical content music videos live performances and fan reception considering both mainstream and underground Hip-Hop subcultures.
