Abstract

India’s rural youth population represents one of the most significant human capital resources in the 21st century yet a majority of them remain disconnected from modern economic opportunities due to limited access to quality education digital infrastructure and structured skill development pathways. As global labour markets transform under the influence of digitalisation automation artificial intelligence green technologies platform-based work and entrepreneurial ecosystems the need for future-ready skill development has become central for rural empowerment. This research paper examines how future-ready skill models can be implemented in rural India by integrating hybrid learning systems digital technologies agritech innovations entrepreneurship development green economy competencies and community-led capacity building. The study further highlights skill gaps systemic challenges gender disparities and labour market mismatches faced by rural youth. Through analytical study the paper pro
