Abstract
Global supply chain disruptions driven by events such as the COVID-19 pandemic geopolitical conflicts trade wars and climate change have reshaped the landscape of international business. For India an emerging economic power with growing integration into global value chains these disruptions present both challenges and opportunities. This paper examines the impact of global supply chain disruptions on Indian businesses and the lessons they can draw to build resilience and competitiveness. It explores disruptions in sectors such as pharmaceuticals automotive textiles and technology analyzing their effects on production logistics and trade. The paper also highlights strategies Indian businesses can adopt including diversification of suppliers digitalization of supply chains investment in local manufacturing and collaboration with government policies like Atmanirbhar Bharat.
