Abstract
Domestic violence represents a critical human rights issue particularly impacting women worldwide. This paper explores the intersection of human rights and gender equality in the context of domestic violence analyzing the systemic and cultural factors that perpetuate abuse. It examines international human rights frameworks and their effectiveness in addressing domestic violence while highlighting the gaps and challenges faced by women in seeking justice and protection. The paper also discusses the role of legal reforms support systems and societal attitudes in mitigating domestic violence and promoting womens rights. Through a comprehensive review of current policies case studies and statistical data the paper aims to provide actionable recommendations for enhancing protections and support mechanisms for survivors of domestic violence.
