    Abstract

    Immigration has progressively influenced the cultural and demographic frameworks of countries often resulting in disputes regarding national identity and integration. This research examines the intricate link between immigration and national identity in multicultural countries evaluating the problems and possibilities posed by varied populations. The study analyzes case studies from several nations to investigate how immigrants manage the integration process while preserving their cultural heritage as well as how indigenous communities see the evolving national identity. The results indicate that immigration may enhance national culture and stimulate economic progress although it also generates apprehensions about social cohesiveness cultural assimilation and the preservation of national identity.
