Abstract
Digital technology has become an integral part of contemporary Indian society influencing the way people communicate interact and participate in community life. The widespread use of smartphones social media platforms messaging applications and internet-based services has transformed social relationships across different age groups and regions. While digital technology has enhanced connectivity access to information and opportunities for social engagement it has also raised concerns regarding reduced face-to-face interactions social isolation privacy issues and misinformation.
