Abstract
Global conflicts during the period 2018–2025 reshaped the international order and significantly influenced India’s foreign policy and domestic society. Rising tensions between the United States and China the Russia–Ukraine war (2022–ongoing) the Afghanistan crisis after the U.S. withdrawal in 2021 the Israel–Palestine conflict (2023 escalation) and the reconfiguration of global supply chains all affected India’s strategic calculations. India as a rising global power and one of the largest democracies had to carefully navigate its diplomatic stance balancing relations with major powers while protecting its national interests. This paper explores the impact of these global conflicts on India’s foreign policy orientation defense strategies economic policies and societal perceptions. It also assesses how global disruptions influenced domestic debates on security economy and national identity.
