    Abstract

    The advent of social media has fundamentally transformed the landscape of contemporary visual arts. Platforms such as Instagram Facebook YouTube and TikTok have redefined how artists create disseminate and monetize their work. Social media acts as both a gallery and a marketplace expanding audience reach while challenging traditional institutions such as museums and galleries. This paper explores the impact of social media on visual arts examining its role in democratizing access fostering innovation and reshaping artistic identities. At the same time the paper critically addresses challenges such as algorithmic bias commodification and authenticity in digital art practices.
