    Abstract

    Indian democracy one of the world’s largest and most diverse political systems has undergone significant transformations between 2018 and 2025 with the introduction of digital technologies in the electoral process. Electoral reforms in this period were shaped by the need to increase transparency inclusivity and efficiency while addressing challenges such as misinformation voter apathy and security risks. The use of digital platforms for voter registration awareness campaigns electronic voting and monitoring of electoral practices marked a new era in democratic participation.
