Abstract
The HG approach which is often used for landscape picture retrieval is first examined in this study. Our next proposal is an enhancement approach that builds on the HG method but restricts itself to comparing specific blocks in two images. The HG techniques retrieval accuracy is improved while its retrieval time is decreased using this approach. Using a collection of 6625 landscape photos we ran an experiment. When compared to the HG approaches our findings reveal that the suggested algorithm outperforms them in terms of speed and accuracy.
