  • Modern Uses of IT in the Field of Psychology

    Abstract

    Information Technology has transformed the field of psychology by reshaping how mental health assessment diagnosis research and treatment are conducted in contemporary society. Digital tools artificial intelligence systems mobile applications data-driven analytics and online therapeutic platforms have significantly expanded access to psychological services while improving the accuracy and efficiency of clinical interventions. This paper explores the modern applications of IT within psychology emphasizing technological advances such as tele-counselling virtual reality-based therapies digital behaviour monitoring machine-learning-driven diagnosis and cloud-based research systems. It also discusses the ethical clinical and methodological implications of integrating technology into psychological practice.
