Abstract
The global economy in 2022-2023 faced a challenging post-pandemic recovery marked by inflationary pressures supply chain disruptions and the risk of a global recession. This research critically analyzes the economic trajectory of major economies such as the U.S. Europe and India focusing on key financial indicators such as GDP growth inflation rates and employment trends. It investigates the role of monetary policies adopted by central banks such as interest rate hikes by the U.S. Federal Reserve and the European Central Bank in stabilizing inflation. Additionally the study explores the impact of geopolitical conflicts particularly the Russia-Ukraine war on energy prices and food security. By analyzing data from economic reports and financial institutions this paper provides a comprehensive understanding of the post-pandemic economic landscape and suggests policy measures for sustained economic growth and financial stability.
