Abstract

Public policy plays a fundamental role in shaping the distribution of opportunities resources rights public services and social protection within a society. In contemporary India the relationship between public policy social equity and inclusive development has become increasingly important because economic growth alone does not automatically ensure equal access to education healthcare employment social security digital resources political participation and human development. Inclusive development requires policies that recognise structural inequalities and address the specific needs of socially and economically disadvantaged communities. This paper examines the relationship between public policy social equity and inclusive development from a critical social science perspective with particular attention to emerging trends and challenges in India. The study adopts a qualitative and descriptive research design based on secondary sources including academic literature government reports po
