Abstract
The contemporary governance landscape is undergoing a profound transformation due to escalating environmental challenges rising citizen awareness and the urgent need to harmonise developmental policies with ecological sustainability. Traditionally public sector institutions were designed to ensure stability deliver essential services and regulate societal functions however their responsibilities today extend far beyond administrative efficiency. With intensifying climate crises diminishing natural resources and increasing global commitments towards environmental protection governments across the world are compelled to integrate green principles into their administrative ethos.
