Abstract

Recently there has been a significant increase in the amount of data that is being created and stored. In order to extract information from the massive amounts of data that are generated by several business applications it is essential to do data analysis on these amounts. Techniques for data mining make use of a wide variety of instruments and give information about company. One of the many techniques that are used in data mining is known as association rule mining. This technique is significant since it seeks to discover connections between the many components of a transaction. It is essential to ensure that the data security is maintained throughout the association rule mining process. This is because the sensitive information of the organization must not be disclosed. The purpose of this study is to give a review of several types of mining approaches for privacy protection association rules. The discussion includes a wide range of ways to protecting privacy including those that are
