  • Research on Urban Womens Anxieties and Dogmatism

    Abstract

    This study explores the relationship between anxieties and dogmatism among urban women examining how these psychological and behavioral traits intersect in the context of urban living. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach we surveyed 300 women residing in metropolitan areas and conducted in-depth interviews with 30 participants to gain qualitative insights. Our findings reveal a significant correlation between higher levels of anxiety and increased dogmatism. Women with elevated anxiety levels tended to exhibit more rigid and inflexible belief systems suggesting that heightened stress may contribute to a stronger reliance on dogmatic attitudes as a coping mechanism. Additionally the research highlights how urban environments—characterized by fast-paced lifestyles and social pressures—can exacerbate these traits.
