    Abstract

    Rural development occupies a central place in the socio-economic progress of developing nations particularly countries like India Bangladesh Nepal Kenya and other regions across Asia Africa and Latin America where a large proportion of the population still depends on agriculture and village-based livelihoods. Despite decades of governmental efforts rural regions continue to face challenges related to poverty limited access to education and healthcare inadequate infrastructure unemployment social inequalities and environmental vulnerability. In this context Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) have emerged as crucial actors complementing government initiatives and bridging gaps left by state institutions.
