Abstract

A story that places an emphasis on female agency permission and sexual empowerment is presented in this piece of art which investigates the connection between eroticism and feminist ideas. By means of its characters and storyline the narrative questions the conventional power relations that have been established and reimagines sexual pleasure from the point of view of a female-centric viewpoint. In contrast to the conventional depictions of women that are found in erotic literature the tale not only places an emphasis on the need of mutual respect and equality in sexual experiences but it also celebrates the many ways in which sexuality may be expressed without discrimination. By doing so it seeks to create a place that is accepting and inclusive of womens sexual identities and wants. It does this by providing a narrative that is in line with feminist beliefs while also embracing eroticism as a means of emancipation and self-expression.
