    Abstract

    Parliamentary democracy has remained the cornerstone of Indias political system since independence providing a framework for representative governance accountability and public participation. Over the decades the Indian Parliament has played a vital role in shaping public policy ensuring governmental responsibility and maintaining constitutional values. However contemporary political developments have raised concerns regarding the effectiveness transparency and responsiveness of parliamentary institutions.
