Abstract

Mahatma Gandhi’s political speeches were transformative mobilizing millions during India’s freedom struggle and shaping public opinion. This paper examines the content and delivery of Gandhi’s speeches highlighting his use of ethical appeals spiritual undertones and cultural references. It explores how his addresses such as those during the Dandi March and Quit India Movement unified people across social and linguistic divides. The study also evaluates the lasting impact of Gandhi’s rhetoric on global peace movements and leadership models. By situating his speeches within the broader context of nonviolent resistance the paper underscores their enduring relevance in advocating for justice and human rights.
