Abstract

Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a pivotal role in Indias economic landscape significantly contributing to wealth creation employment and inclusive growth. Representing over 95% of all enterprises in India MSMEs are crucial for fostering innovation entrepreneurship and regional development. They not only generate substantial employment opportunities but also contribute to the GDP and export earnings. This sector acts as a backbone to the larger economic structure by supporting large industries through supply chains and offering vital services to various sectors. The success and sustainability of MSMEs are essential for addressing economic disparities and promoting balanced growth across different regions. Government policies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the competitiveness and financial stability of MSMEs are fundamental in harnessing their full potential and ensuring their continued contribution to Indias wealth creation system.
