The Maratha Empire under the leadership of Chhatrapati Shivaji holds a distinguished position in Indian history particularly regarding its revolutionary approach to governance military tactics and its profound impact on the socio-political landscape of India in the 17th century. This research paper delves into the Maratha view of power through the figure of Shivaji analyzing his policies administrative strategies and military innovations.
