Abstract

This study delves into Dr. B.R. Ambedkars perspectives on religion exploring his critical examination of religious systems and their role in perpetuating social inequality. Ambedkar a seminal figure in Indian history approached religion not merely as a system of belief but as a framework deeply intertwined with socio-political structures. This examination reviews existing literature on Ambedkars critiques of Hinduism his advocacy for Buddhism and his broader views on religious reform. By analyzing key texts and scholarly interpretations the study highlights Ambedkars belief in the transformative potential of religion when aligned with principles of justice and equality.
