Abstract
The philosophical ideas of Vinayak Damodar Savarkar one of the most influential and controversial thinkers of modern India extend deeply into questions of social reform national identity and cultural reconstruction. Among the various dimensions of his intellectual legacy Savarkar’s reflections on the status dignity rights and responsibilities of Hindu women represent a significant yet often understudied aspect of his writings. His views on Hindu womanhood were shaped not only by his nationalist ideology and commitment to cultural rejuvenation but also by his rationalist approach historical interpretations and critique of social stagnation.
