The growing environmental challenges of the twenty-first century have compelled nations across the world to reconsider conventional models of economic development. India as one of the worlds fastest-growing economies faces the dual challenge of sustaining economic growth while ensuring environmental protection and social equity. The concept of green development has emerged as a strategic framework that seeks to balance these objectives through sustainable governance practices.
