  • The Role of Ethics in Social Development

    Abstract

    Ethics plays a foundational role in shaping the social economic and institutional development of societies. Social development is not merely a process of economic growth or infrastructural expansion it is deeply connected with values moral principles and collective responsibility. Ethics provides the normative framework through which societies define justice equality human dignity and social responsibility. In the absence of ethical values development processes often become exclusionary exploitative and unsustainable.
