Abstract
The emergence of smart cities has been driven by the rapid integration of digital and mobile technologies into urban management and governance significantly transforming community engagement. Mobile technologies including smartphones mobile applications and IoT-enabled platforms have facilitated greater citizen participation enhanced public services and improved urban decision-making. This research examines how mobile technology has reshaped community engagement by increasing accessibility fostering digital inclusion and enabling real-time feedback mechanisms. Using a multidisciplinary approach including urban studies digital governance and behavioral science this study explores the role of mobile technology in participatory governance smart infrastructure and social inclusion within urban spaces.
