Abstract
The value crises that we were facing in the contemporary society is casting its evil impact in all the corners of the life in present day times. Our society is witnessing various types of problems even though more than half of the century has passed of making progress in different fields: one of them is corrosion of values. These types of problems raise a question mark on our development and current educational system and make us think that in which direction we are progressing whether it be material spiritual or in both. But this situation depicts that we are heading towards material aspects and the spiritual development is lagging behind. The basic issue is how to overcome this problem. The answer to this question owes its responsibility towards society and school but the major responsibility towards it lies to the teachers who are responsible for the inculcation of values in the students.
